Aboriginal Languages and Tribes

As part of our history unit, we studied Indigenous culture. We had to research our question, plan out how we were going to present it, edit our work, put all our videos and facts together then finally we had to put a bibliography.
My inquiry question was do Aboriginal people have borders that they live in?
Here is my group’s video:

At our excursion to CERES farm, I also learnt more about Banjail. Banjail is what some Aboriginal people believe as the creator spirit. First Banjail was a human and when he was happy with his work and creations he turned into a eagle and flew up into the sky.
Leave a comment with a fact you learnt from my video.

  1. Hi Patrick,

    I learnt loads about Languages
and tribes. 1 fact I learnt was
that there used to be 500
    different tribes but now there
are only thirteen. I like how the
video is short, but there is a
    lot of information to it.

Do you know if any other tribe visit others?
    From Megan.

  2. Hi Pat,
I had no idea that there were once 500 different aboriginal tribes in Australia. It makes me sad that there are only about 13 tribes left. Its very important to remember our history and be respectful of all people who live in our country.
I wonder what its like to live a nomadic lifestyle like the aboriginal people did? Would you like to live a nomadic life?

    Julie
